Sports Fanatic me: Come on, Buccos. Just because you won yesterday doesn’t mean you shouldn’t win today. Remember? You just lost ten in a row…
Normal me: They’ll pick it up, don’t worry. They don’t want to go a 19th straight losing season any more than you want them to.
Sports Fanatic me: I doubt they’ve wanted to for the last 18 years either.
Apathetic me: Littlefield and McClatchy probably didn’t care.
Sports Fanatic me: For once, I may just agree with you.
Normal me: No, folks, James hasn’t forgotten about this place. In fact, he’s been rather displeased at his neglect of it. Frankly, as soon as school ended, he went straight to building more model airplanes. He’s up to, oh, nearly forty now. Perhaps we’ll show some of them.
Nerdy me: Oh, please do. He’s working on an F-100D Super Saber. I’d love to explain the history of them all.
Normal me: I’m sure you would.
Artistic me: James has been quite unproductive lately. Actually, that’s an understatement. He’s done nothing. No new designs of any kind. He did finally get the results of the Enterprise competition he entered, though, and he’s kinda letting that affect his estimation of his talent, or lack thereof.
Apathetic me: Who cares? It’s not like he’s gonna get STO anyway.
Artistic me: Yeah, but it’s nice to get some recognition.
Normal me: Exactly, so here’s the contest results page: http://www.startrekonline.com/node/2415
Apathetic me: James lost definitively.
Normal me: Oh please.
Nerdy me: He really just has to refine this design to bring it back up to his standards of quality. It was a quick project and didn’t take much over a week. You can’t get down close to it the way you can with the Avenger.
Artistic me: Well, the plan is just to use it for distance shots…if he ever does any more scenes from the Avenger episodes.
Normal me: Fair enough. At any rate, he decided to finally cobble together a new image, so here you go.
