Normal me: Must…get away…from lab reports…
Sports Fanatic me: OHGODHOWDIDTHISGETHEREIAMNOTGOODWITHCOMPUTERS
Artistic me: I swear, this is sucking the life away from me…
Apathetic me: Stupid reports.
Nerdy me: Even I’m not having fun right now.
Normal me: Okay, James needs a brief respite from this lab report. It’s driving him crazy, frankly. So it’s time for a minor post. Subject: the Allegheny Class Runabout.
Nerdy me: One of these days, are you going to manage to spell it right the first time you try to type it?
Normal me: At least I get it right, okay? Anyway…go on, do your thing.
Nerdy me: *Clears throat* Of course. So, here’s the Runabout James designed to replace the Danube Class. In keeping with naming runabouts for rivers, he decided to go with the Allegheny.
Sports Fanatic me: Yeah, Pittsburgh connections. Gotta love them.
Nerdy me: Indeed. Observe, schematics.
Nerdy me: She keeps the same basic shape of the Danube, but with James’ 25th century aesthetic. Interestingly, this design has been wildly popular on his deviantART page. Rather interesting, since it isn’t really the sleekest thing he’s done. Oh well. It’s good at what it does, at any rate.
Artistic me: Now then, how about some beauty shots? What kind of a post would this be without those?
Artistic me: That render still confuses me. The thing looks positively metallic and reflective, but those properties were never defined for it. Oh well, anyway.
Normal me: In other news, judging has begun on the Star Trek Online “Design the Enterprise” contest. James’ Ark Royal has been quite popular among those he knows on dA, so hopefully it will impress the judges just as much. Anyway, that’s all for today. James feels a bit better now. Til next time, then.
